In the man’s world, as they call it, it’s a mad race. Once you’re off the bus, it’s tough to get back on it. But unlike her male counterpart, even the most fiercely competitive woman is a mother, a caregiver, first. Driven by this instinct, there are some happy mommies who have said glad goodbyes to full-time jobs so that they could be with their kids. ‘‘I want the best for my son and that includes ‘sanskar’, which only parents can inculcate. Being a perfectionist, I wanted to give 100% to both my family and work. But the two things don’t go together. hmmm...lovers' tiff?
ReplyDeletenicely expressed, Charu. i wait for your next poem after the thawing.
hahaahaa.. no sir... it’s nothing do with me... wanted to write something which I have not experienced.. at least not in recent past... was trying my hand at expressing others' feelings and these others are fictitious
ReplyDeletethat changes the complexion of the whole thing. beautiful. but a tiff now and then is all right. should not last more than two hours, though.
ReplyDeletecold silence separating and frozen feelings binding is a nice image of contrasting quality of the same thing.
Trying to get what others feel is good may be. Never tried.
ReplyDeletewriting is cool as ever.
The design on your page is too bright. means its good but difficult to read. so can you change please.
Rohit's comment betrays a certain frigidity. You should have said : "you write beautifully, but isn't the page, the whole prospect, a little hard on the eyes? will you change please?" :)

ReplyDeletehow do you bring on the smile symbol? :-) -- like this?

Sir, i am not good in expressing things. Sometimes it changes the real meaning i know but i am working hard on this.
Sometimes i miss the soul of the poem too, i know thats bad but what to do.
I am reading more and more to understand the art and gain.
Thats why i am not commenting regularly.
Thanks for taking a note on the comment.

Rohit
